OF LOVE
(CD: 1997)
Memories of Love is Future Bible Heroes’ first full length
album. Stephin Merritt’s lyrics and vocal melodies are
accompanied Chris Ewen’s electro-pop instrumentation
& song writing, while vocals are provided by Stephin and
Claudia Gonson. Memories of Love was released on Slow River
/ Rykodisc (US), Elefant (Europe) ,and Setanta (UK) in 1997.
Elefant also released Memories Of Love in Korea, where it
included three songs from the “Lonely Days” ep as
bonus tracks: “Love Is Blue”, “How to Get Laid
in Japanese” and ‘Berlin On $10 A Day”
The album's sleeve and booklet are packed with puzzles and games
that when solved reveal the name of the band, album title, credits,
and lyrics.
